This Privacy Policy explains what information the invoice generator application (provided by IntegerByte LLP) collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.

1. What We Collect

When you register, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, and business details. When you use the invoicing features — as a registered user or as a guest — we store the business, client, and invoice information you enter: names, contact details, addresses, tax numbers (GST/PAN), and line items. If you contact support, we collect whatever you provide in that form (name, business name, contact number, email, and optionally GST/PAN).

2. How Your Data Is Protected

Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. The contact details most likely to identify you personally — account email/mobile numbers and business email/phone — are encrypted at rest. Login, registration, the guest invoice tool, and our support form are all protected by an image-based CAPTCHA and rate-limiting to block automated abuse. The admin reporting area is protected by a separate secret key.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the invoicing service to you: generating invoices and PDFs, managing your client list, running your account, and responding to support requests. We don't sell your data to third parties.

4. Guest Invoices

The free "create invoice without an account" tool doesn't require signing in, but for record-keeping purposes we do save a copy of each guest invoice you generate — the business, client, and invoice details, along with the date, time, and IP address of the submission. If you provide an email address, we'll also send you a confirmation email. This record isn't linked to any user account, since guests don't have one.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We don't sell or rent your data. We use trusted third-party services strictly to operate the application — for example, to deliver transactional emails such as confirmations and support replies. We don't share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

6. Cookies and Sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account, client, and invoice data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. Guest invoice records are kept for our own record-keeping and support purposes. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your Choices" below.

8. Your Choices

You can view and update your account and business details at any time from your dashboard. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below.

9. Children's Privacy

This application is intended for business use and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
